The Manatee Community Concert Band is committed to the community band concept, providing an opportunity for community musicians of all ages, from students to seniors. Band membership is open to  anyone with a good deal of experience (even if it was years ago!) playing their chosen instrument, who reads music well, and is willing to put in the time and effort to prepare their individual parts and regularly attend rehearsals and concerts.

Note:  Members do not have to be a resident of Manatee County to be a member of the band.

The Band's concert season is from October through early April with four concerts at the Neel Performing Arts Center and four concerts at other venues (satellite concerts). The Band also has a summer band program in August with one or two additional satellite concerts.
